Analysis Paper
Write a letter, song, ad or other communication to one of the major media outlets we have looked at either here in the United States or in another country. Your communication should be a critique of their news service – either complimentary or critical – from any one or more of the perspectives we have discussed in class so far. You may want to focus, for example, on the role of the media in keeping the voting public informed within the context of a democracy.
Your communication should be approximately two pages or two minutes in length. Whatever its format, it should contain all the elements of any good piece of writing, including cogent organization and purpose, evidence to support your reasoning, analysis to relate your evidence to your main point, effective word choice and appropriate references.
